spring tidings

I want to share my current events in a way that feels creative rather than competitive, and so I’m giving it a go through this portal on my website. Because I am supporting many things in and around my community, this will also be the space where I’ll ask for you to help me support these efforts & expanding this support to the people in your network. I’d like to see this as a means of continued conversation, so feel free to respond if anything strikes a connection for you.

I hope you enjoy hearing about my current events. It’s rather exhaustive moving this quickly after a deep hibernation, but I have been grateful to be interacting with the creative humans you’ll get to know in this letter.

Morning spent with Cuban filmmaker Gloria Rolando and Lake Michigan.

on the horizon

I’ll be attending Regla Soul’s Farming and Sustainability Program in early June. I had the honor of meeting Gloria just weeks before her return to Cuba, and I am proud to be una hija de Gloria, as she loves to tell all the inspired storytellers who got to know her during her stay in Chicago. As I prepare for my own departure, I’m seeking a functional suitcase that I can include in my gift of donated items. If you have a suitcase to donate, or would like to donate other items, please reply and let me know.
